New Oroton global online store creates a destination for modern luxury accessories.

“We wanted to get a fresher look and really focus on a much cleaner site allowing our shoppers to experience the Oroton brand whether using their mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop as their device of choice,” said Melanie Grafton, Head of Ecommerce and Client Services at Oroton Group.

Creating a responsive design website which adapts to any sized screen means today’s multi-device customers can shop from their mobile, tablet or laptop while sitting on a train, waiting for friends in a cafe or watching TV.
Capitalising on the world’s love for bespoke designs, NOW Solutions developed a “Personalise Your Bag” solution giving customers the ability to create a unique bag simply by adding text and/or monogramming.
‘Yet it wasn’t just about overhauling the customer experience,’ said NOW Solutions’s Director and Project Manager Andrew Maver. ‘There were major systems changes required to ensure information from the online store flowed seamlessly through Oroton’s business systems so customers would receive their orders quickly, get notifications of delivery progress.’
‘Our team worked with Oroton and a number of other solution partners to make sure everything flowed through the business systems irrespective of whether the order was a monogrammed bag gift wrapped and destined for the United Kingdom, a gift card electronically sent to mum for Mother’s Day or a Click and Collect order being picked up in an inner city Oroton store,” said Andrew.
The previous Oroton online store consisted of five (5) different websites each supporting different parts of the world. This made it incredibly difficult to maintain. The new online store is a single global website supporting six (6) currencies and with the capacity to grow to more and integrated product, customer and fulfilment management. This means:
- a more streamlined operation;
- cost savings;
- the ability to adapt to an ever changing online retail marketplace; and
- a much better outcome for customers.
